Dear GAMS Parents/Guardians:
Strong home and school connections are vital to a student’s success. Parent-Teacher Conferences are a wonderful opportunity to discuss your child’s progress. As we continue to navigate these challenging times, we want to offer you the opportunity to meet with your child’s teachers while providing safe and convenient options for all families. Therefore, we invite you to join us, either in-person or via Zoom, on Wednesday, March 30 for an afternoon and evening made available for Parent-Teacher Conferences.
To help open the event to everyone, we are offering appointments between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. You may schedule an in-person meeting or Zoom conference with one or more of your child’s teachers, a guidance counselor, or their assistant principal. Parents selecting the Zoom meeting option will be sent a link to join their conference(s).
If you would like to schedule a conference, please call the middle school main office at 717-597-3226, ext. 20500 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and speak with Mrs. Munson to schedule your appointment. To allow adequate time for us to prepare for the conferences, we ask that you contact our office by Friday, March 25 to schedule your appointment.
We believe that good communication is essential. Our teachers will be prepared to discuss your child’s progress. These conferences provide an excellent opportunity to share information regarding your child’s strengths and weaknesses. In addition, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to give us suggestions that will help us to better serve you and your child. We look forward to meeting with you.
