About Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
Most of us have heard of the increase in violence and child abuse across the nation possibly caused by relatives or loved ones afflicted with COVID-19, a parent/s losing their job, not being able to pay bills, etc., are all very real experiences our students may be coping with. These experiences would be a few examples of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
