Parent Teacher Conferences

September 15, 2017

Dear Parents:

You and your child are invited to join us on either Thursday, October 5, or Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at the Greencastle-Antrim Middle School for an afternoon and evening made available for Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences. This is the perfect time to further discuss your child’s educational progress and plan. Your child’s teachers should be able to share information regarding academic performance, beginning of the year MAP assessment data and instructional implications, and 2017 PSSA and Keystone Exam results.

To help open the event to everyone, we’re offering 15-minute appointments between the hours of 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 5th and between the hours of 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 11th. If you would like to speak to one or more of your child’s teachers or to our Guidance Counselor, we ask that you call the office at 597-3226 extension 20500 and speak to Mrs. Harbaugh. Please call Mrs. Harbaugh between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM to schedule an appointment. Due to the limited number of conference time slots available, we will try to arrange for you to meet with several teachers simultaneously. So that teachers can be prepared, we ask that you please call to set your appointment prior to the closing of our office on Tuesday, October 3rd to reserve an October 5th appointment or prior to closing on Monday, October 9th to reserve an October 11th appointment.

We are pleased that our middle school will be able to offer this service to you at this critical point in our academic year. Good communication and planning are essential for your child’s success. We hope to see you.

Mark W. Herman
Principal, GAMS
